Revenue Source Declaration
The Dialogue, is a self-financing journal. Since foundation in 2007, it has not charged Article Publication Charges (APCs) to the authors for the publication of their research articles. From 2019, the publication processing is dependent upon the Article Publication Charges (APCs), which are not for profit. The generated funds are invested to improve the services of the journal. These charges cover the various costs of publication, editorial and peer review processes, staff salaries, printing, electronic hosting, archiving and indexing. The publication processing is solely dependent upon the Article Processing Charges (APC) received from authors and the personal finance of the publisher. As the journal is Open Access so there are no subscription charges. The content is freely accessible for the readers on the journal website.
The Dialogue, is an open access journal, which means all its content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author as long as they cite the source.
Moreover, “The Dialogue” charges a modest publication fee to authors that is based on a sliding scale, providing reduced rates, from 50% to 100% fee waiver off for foreign authors and Qurtuba University faculty members.
The journal receives funds from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan according to respective category subject to the quality of research articles published and citation record.
